Here at SKC Occupational Health Ltd we are very proud to be able to offer International Travellers access to a variety of Covid 19 Services. So if you are looking to book a business trip, family holiday, or your next adventure, we have you covered. We have partnered with a government approved laboratory to provide a reliable and smooth process smooth process for your testing needs.

What test do I need?

We hear you, it can be confusing to understand what test you need for which situation. Luckily you for, we are the experts and can guide you through.

Looking to travel aboard?

Before you travel aboard you need to have what is called a Pre Travel Swab Test. The technical term for this is a PCR (polymerase chain reaction) Test.

We offer this as a home testing kit, or you can attend our clinic for the test taken by a clinician. We can offer an accredited Lateral Flow Rapid test or a laboratory PCR test according to the destination Covid -19 entry criteria.

You will need to ensure you allow time for the test and the results to meet the travel time criteria declared by your airline.

Looking to return to the UK?

After being abroad, depending on where you have returned from; the current guidance is to quarantine. Obviously, Government guidance does change frequently, so you will need to have a look on https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice and check to see if the country that you are returning from is on the compulsory quarantine list or not. As from February 2021 you will also need to book a test on day 2 and day 8 during your quarantine,

You do have the additional option to take a test to release from quarantine at day 5. All post travel tests need to be a PCR (polymerase chain reaction) swab test which will be analysed at our laboratory.

Again we can offer this as a home test kit or you can attend clinic for a test by a qualified clinician.
